About

"Something feels off about this experience" — that's where I can start with you.

I'm Tomoe Hashimoto, a UI/UX designer. Much of my work begins before a problem has even been confirmed to exist. I make issues visible through research and data, build criteria that let stakeholders decide, and carry the work all the way into screens and implementation specs.

I've worked both in-house on SaaS products and as an external partner on feature design. Currently I'm a UI/UX designer and product manager at a construction-industry SaaS company, where I lead experience design and partner with the team's UI designers for interface execution.

Based in Vancouver, I work fully remotely with teams in Japan. Working across time zones has shaped how I operate: I document not just decisions, but the reasoning behind them, rather than relying on verbal follow-ups.
